The claim i am making for my web argument is that video game play can necessarily be considered an addiction. It has been proven that excessive game play causes psychological and neurological changes which resemble that of people who have a substance addiction. Also a person will become more reliable on playing video game with excessive play. How can something physically change the human body in a way that something else does and yet not be considered the same thing. Thats like saying something that you use to harm someone is not considered a weapon. They have the same characteristics and in turn must be the same thing.

That's so funny that this is your claim. I know a couple of dudes and all they do is play the game. What's messed up is when their not playing the game they are either eating, sleeping, in the bathroom or talking about playing the game; that's what they call it too, "the game", no matter what the system is or the name of the actual game, it just "the game". lol They also talk using things that reference to the game. Their fiends, I think it's funny. . .sad but funny.
I think that this is so true i'm glad your covering this. I think that it will e interseting to read.
I didnt actually realizze that reseach proved that video game addiction is the same as a drug addiction. Interesting.
